There may be times when you feel you know a subject deeply, and you have all the facts before you on the screen of your mind. Someone comes to speak with you on this subject who is much less familiar with the definite material that makes up its foundation. And they do not agree with you. Their argument is based on the shakiest of suppositions and the most subjective assumptions. They do not seem to listen to your facts. Facts that support your logical and convincing arguments.

You wish to remain open to the possibility that this person has something worthy to offer despite their unfounded contentiousness and rejection of your watertight arguments and vast knowledge. Yet you are somewhat indignant that they stick to their pet view of things, of which, furthermore, they do not seem to fully share the details with you.
