Hurry!

What is it about hurry? Hurry is necessary as time is short, and life is short. Opportunities only stay for a period, and then are gone, perhaps forever. So I increase my pace, my tempo. But do I know in which direction I am going? Even if I have a clear aim, how do I know I am going towards it? What if I am hurrying in the wrong direction?

Could I go faster if I slow down? If I let go and relax my hold, my grip, upon so many things I am attached to?

I let go of worries and tensions. I slow down, and I notice things. Things about my own state, the body, the muscles, the alignment or misalignment. I slow down to see, to feel. As I relax, I become more sensitive to other influences. I can open to something deeper and and more expansive within me. It seems that I can even be guided by this inner something. I learn to be still, to see more, to be touched. And by this means I am propelled forwards in some unknown way.
