Is imagination friend or foe in our path through life? This faculty of forming something in the mind, rather than in the external world - for example, pictures, sounds, smells, numbers, conversations, problems and their solutions, and so on - is entwined with the processes of influence and suggestion, and thus, of course, hypnosis.
