F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote a peculiar, seemingly absurd, short story, lightly entertaining, entitled The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,1 published in 1922, in which the protagonist is born an old man, yet grows progressively younger. In spite of its absurdity, is this idea something that I can play with, or, more to the point, something that I can use?
